Contoh Dialog Menceritakan Folktales
Teacher: Today we will learn about folktales. Who wants to tell their favorite folktale in front of the class?
Student: Me, Ma'am!
Teacher: All right. What is your favorite folktales?
Student: I often read a folk tale called Keong Mas.
Teacher: Tell me about the Keong Mas in front of the class.
Student: Keong Mas is a story from Java, which tells the story of of Raja Panjalu's daughter, who is the king of Kediri named Candra Kirana. Raja Panjalu has two daughters, namely Dewi Candra Kirana and Dewi Ajeng who are different from each other. One day, Candra Kirana was expelled from the palace for allegedly poisoning Raja Panjalu, even though the poison was given by Dewi Ajeng who was jealous because Candra Kirana was going to marry Raden Inu Kertapati. Candra Kirana who went to the forest was then bewitched by Nenek Gagak Ireng into a golden snail. Candra Kirana who had become a snail was then adrift in the sea and was brought home by a fisherman's grandmother. At night, the golden snail turns into a human again, which is Candra Kirana. As an expression of gratitude to the fishing grandmother who saved her, Candra Kirana cooked for the grandmother who had saved her. One day, Raden Inu Kertapati who was disguised as a commoner and asked for food to the fisherman's grandmother's house. It was in this fisherman's grandmother's house that Raden Inu Kertapati met Candra Kirana and the two returned to the palace, where they got married.
