Bobo.id - Narrative text adalah jenis teks yang bercerita mengenai rangkaian peristiwa secara kronologis serta saling terhubung.
Sifat narrative text pada umumnya adalah berupa cerita fiktif atau karangan yang memiliki tujuan untuk menghibur pembaca.
Struktur narrative text adalah:
1. Orientation, yang berisi mengenai perkenalan tokoh dan latar.
2. Complication, yang mengenai awal mula peristiwa atau kejadian. Awal mula peristiwa tersebut menjadi rentetan alur cerita yang kemudian berlanjut pada konflik, klimaks, serta anti klimaks.
3. Resolution, merupakan bagian akhir cerita yang umumnya berisi penyelesaian konfliks.

1. A Lion and The Mouse
A lion was once sleeping in the jungle when a mouse started running up and down his body just for fun. This disturbed the lion’s sleep, and he woke up quite angry.
