Bobo.id - Short story atau cerita pendek (cerpen) adalah suatu bentuk prosa naratif (fiksi/karangan).
Short story merupakan sebuah cerita yang ditulis lebih singkat dibandingkan dengan cerita novel dan lebih panjang dari sebuah cerita fabel.
Dalam cerpen Bahasa Inggris, jenis kalimat yang digunakan adalah kalimat past tense, karena menceritakan kejadian lampau.
Jenis kalimatnya pun bisa dalam bentuk active voice dan passive voice. Active voice memiliki kaidah (grammar) yang sudah teman-teman pelajari dalam pelajaran tenses.
