Soal Let's Practice ini merupakan bagian dari Chapter 5: Letter Writing, yakni materi untuk belajar membuat surat pribadi atau personal letter.
Berikut ini adalah struktur surat pribadi atau persoal letter yang harus kita ketahui, yakni:
- Date (Tanggal): Date when the letter is written (top left). / Tanggal saat surat ditulis (kiri atas)
- Address (Alamat): Place where you are writing from (top right). / Tempat Anda menulis dari (kanan atas).
- Salutation & Name (Sapaan dan Nama): Greeting and the person's name you are writing to. / Salam dan nama orang yang Anda tuju.
- Introduction (Perkenalan): The opening of the letter usually starts with how are you or refers to previous letter. / Pembukaan surat biasanya dimulai dengan apa kabar atau mengacu pada surat sebelumnya.
- Body (Tubuh/Isi surat): The main part of the letter. It includes what you want to write to the other person. / Bagian utama dari surat itu. Ini termasuk apa yang ingin Anda tulis kepada orang lain.
- Closure (Penutupan): The part indicates the letter is going to end. / Bagian menunjukkan surat itu akan berakhir.
- Complimentary close (Salam penutup): Short expressions like “Love you”, “Sincerely yours”, / Ungkapan singkat seperti "Salam sayang,", "Salam,".
- Signature (Tanda tangan): Signature or initials of the writer. / Tanda tangan atau inisial penulis.

- Postscript/P.S. (Tambahan): After thought in a letter. You begin with P.S. and end it with your initials. / Tambahan dalam sebuah surat. Anda mulai dengan P.S. dan akhiri dengan inisial Anda.

I hope all is well with you. It's been a while since you moved to the new city for college. It is so sad that you are not few houses away anymore. I hope your new life is going well. It must be exciting living on your own in the hostel college. Everything is fine here. You know nothing much happens here.
Have you already settled in? When is your college starting? Do you like the place you are living in? How is the neighborhood? I can't believe you live on boarding. I will be starting college soon as well but my parents insisted that I live at home.
Anyway, a bunch of us were talking about a reunion in summer holidays. So you better keep your calendar free. Nothing has been decided so suggestions are welcome!!!
That reminds me if you need anything let me know. I will gladly help. Have fun and don’t stay out late. we miss you so much!!!
