Introduction

The Starry Night is one of Van Gogh’s masterpieces. Currently, the painting is stored in the Museum of Modern Art, New York. The 73.7 x 92.1 cm painting is Because of its strong colors.

Evaluation

The strokes and color choices in this painting are very strong. The night sky is drawn with curved lines. Some people feel that the blue color, as it dominates the whole canvas, means to hold back the anger. Combined with yellow, which means insecure.

Interpretation

In my opinion, this painting describes the deep feelings of the painter. I feel like I can enter the world of Van Gogh. I also made the painting “The Starry Night” as my desktop wallpaper and seeing it made me happy.
