Present perfect tense adalah tenses yang digunakan untuk menceritakan peristiwa di masa lampau namun masih berhubungan dengan kejadian sekarang.
Mudahnya, tenses ini digunakan untuk menyatakan kata “pernah/sudah” terhadap suatu kegiatan.
Umumnya tense ini digunakan untuk mengungkapkan situasi atau aksi yang telah dimulai di waktu yang lalu namun masih berlanjut atau masih ada hubungannya dengan masa sekarang.
Contoh Kalimat Present Perfect Tense
a. Kalimat Positif Present Perfect Tense
Rumus kalimat positive (+): Subjek + have/has + Verb 3
Contoh kalimat:
- I have eaten today.
- She has cleaned her room yesterday.
