My name is Salsa, 7th grade junior high school student. I am a beginner volleyball player in my school. The next week after was my first match, so I had to practice a lot.
- Events:
Match day had come. My team and I have already prepared ourselves to face an opposing team from another school
They all seemed stronger and more experienced, so I had my doubts. Luckily, my team-mates and the coach cheered me on.
Due to nervousness, I played poorly. Our team had to lose in the first round.
My coach reassured me by saying that nervousness is normal for beginners.
He said that I should enjoy my match, without thinking about winning or losing.
- Reorientation:
Miraculously, I was able to calm down in the second half. My team played very well. We won in the second half and I'm very happy.
