16 Rumus Active Voice dan Passive Voice 

1. Simple present tense
Active voice: Subject + V1 (s/es) + object
Passive voice: Subject + is/am/are + verb 3 + object

Contoh kalimat:
Active voice: She drinks coffee in the kitchen.
Passive voice: Coffee is drunk by her in the kitchen.

2. Present continuous tense
Active voice: Subject + is/am/are + V-ing + object
Passive voice: Subject + is/am/are being + verb 3 + object

Contoh kalimat:
Active voice: She is cooking fried noodles in the kitchen.
Passive voice: Fried noodles is being cooked by her in the kitchen.

3. Present perfect tense
Active voice: Subject + have/has + verb 3 + object
passive voice: Subject + have/has been + verb 3 + object

Contoh kalimat:
Active voice: I have written my books already.
Passive voice: My books have been written by me already.

4. Present perfect continuous tense
Active voice: Subject + have/has been + v-ing + object
Passive voice: Subject + have/has been being + Verb 3 + object

Active voice: She have been teaching our class.
Passive voice: Our class has been being taught by her.

5. Simple past tense
Active voice: Subject + verb 2 + object
Passive voice : Subject + was/were + verb 3 + object

Active voice: I watched a TV in the living room.
Passive voice: TV was watched by me in the living room.

6. Past continuous tense
Active voice: Subject + was/were + v-ing + object
passive voice: Subject + was/were being + verb 3 + obejct

Active voice: My mother was cleaning our kitchen yesterday.
Passive voice: Our kitchen was being washed by my mother yesterday.

7. Past perfect tense
Active voice: Subject + had + verb 3 + O
Passive voice: Subject + had been + verb 3 + O

Contoh kalimat:
Active voice: We had called our father last night.
Passive voice: Our father had been called by us last night.

8. Past perfect continuous tense
Active voice: Subject + had been + v-ing + O
Passive voice: Subject + had been being + verb-3 + O

Contoh :
Active voice: We had been cooking fried noodles.
Passive voice: Fried noodle had been being cooked by us.

9. Simple future tense
Active voice: Subject + will + verb 1 + object
Passive voice: Subject + will be + verb 3 + Object

Active voice: I will call my mom tomorrow.

Active voice: Subject + will be + v-ing + object
